Commercial ADA Railing
Remember - an accessible environment is not a privilege but a right. At Creekside Metal Handrails, we specialize in providing top-tier commercial ADA railings. Our company has been in the metal handrail industry for many years, and we take pride in our dedication to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. We understand that every project has unique requirements and challenges, which is why we work closely with clients to understand their specific project requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their budgets and timelines. Our railings are meticulously designed and expertly crafted to ensure easy and secure navigation for individuals of all abilities, in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The Importance of Accessibility
Our commercial ADA railings play a vital role in facilitating access to multilevel structures. Serving as critical support systems for stairs and ramps, an ADA-compliant railing is an absolute necessity in California. It provides stability and safety to individuals with mobility impairments, enabling them to navigate to and through buildings with ease. With a secure grip and consistent height, our stairs railings offer a reliable handhold for everyone, from children to the elderly and individuals with disabilities. We utilize the highest quality materials and cutting-edge technology to manufacture our railings. We take pride in our exceptional customer service and ensure a hassle-free installation process for all our clients.
Reliable Solutions
In addition to our commitment to ADA compliance, we also prioritize durability and longevity. Our commercial railings are made from high-quality materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and galvanized steel, making them resistant to rust, corrosion, and wear and tear. This ensures that our railings maintain their structural integrity even after years of use in high-traffic areas. Furthermore, our railings are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and extreme temperatures, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Enhancing Your Commercial Space
What sets our railings apart is the blend of functionality and aesthetics. We believe that practicality should not overshadow design. Hence, while our ADA railings adhere to the highest safety standards, they are also built to enhance the visual appeal of your commercial space, be it a corporate office, educational institution, healthcare facility, or retail store. We offer a variety of styles, finishes, and customization options to suit your specific needs and complement the design aesthetic of your building. From pipe railing to modern horizontal bars, we can stay within the confines of ADA compliance with nearly any style of metal railing.

By prioritizing safety and inclusivity, our commercial ADA railings play a pivotal role in making public and private buildings accommodating for all. Our mission is to ensure that everyone, regardless of their physical abilities, can navigate and access spaces with ease and confidence. We are proud to have been a part of numerous projects that promote accessibility and inclusivity, and we continue to strive towards making our communities more welcoming for all individuals.
After the Fact Adjustments
Have you received notice from a lawyer or the city that you need to update your railings or amend part of your property? In San Jose, and all of California, ADA regulations are taken very seriously. We can help if you're in violation and needing a correction, repair, or new installation to make sure all railings and ramps on your property are ADA compliant. We have worked with CASp inspectors and understand the rules around making sure accessibility is allowed for all parties.
ADA Requirements
While ADA compliance is a national expectation, California has stricter regulations in place for some parts of the laws. As for accessibility needs, handrails (the top surface) must sit between 34 and 38 inches above the ground where the railing is installed. The railing needs to continuously run the entire length of the stairs or walkway and not have any gaps or interruptions for the entire span. Beyond this, a 12 inch extension must continue past the start and finish of this uninterrupted run. The surface that is gripped is expected to be comfortable for hands and any cross-section dimension should have a diameter between 1.25 and 2 inches.
There are some additional rules that need to be considered along with any special codes that are enforced by local cities. While the regulations may feel strict, they are in place for safety and fair accessibility and without them, we'd be worse off. We'd be happy to help with any kind of metal ADA railing requests you have, which includes stairs, ramps and various entrances.
